Ranking the Top 5 Off-White x Nike Sneakers

Nike and Off-White first collaborated in the summer of 2017 and have released a flurry of projects together ever since. But this summer, they have announced their biggest project yet, so we thought it was a perfect time to look back at our favorite Off-White x Nike sneaker collaborations over the last 4 years.

5. Off-White x Nike Air Presto “The Ten”

The 5th shoe on this list was a very tough decision, but we decided to give it to the Off-White rendition of the 2000’s classic, the Nike Air Presto. Part of Off-White and Nike’s original “The Ten” collaboration, the Presto stood out as one of its most exciting silhouettes from the jump. With its stitching unfinished and on full display, the Presto still held true to the sock-like inspiration of the original model but simultaneously transformed the sneaker into a contemporary piece of art.

4. Off-White x Nike Dunk Low Pine Green

Nike Dunks have been one of the hottest models of 2020 and 2021, and the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low has played a significant role in this. Ahead of the curve as usual, Virgil Abloh, the CEO of Off-White, released his version of the Nike Dunk in December of 2019, just before the Nike Dunk started to gain serious momentum. Released alongside two other Off-White x Nike Dunk Low colorways, the Pine Green edition’s classic white and green color blocking made it the most popular Nike Dunk out of the pack.

3. Off-White x Jordan 4 Retro Sail (W)

Released in 2020, the Off-White x Jordan 4 Retro Sail stands out from the other sneakers on this list, as it is a women's exclusive. In practice what this meant was that both men and women could buy the shoe, but it was only produced in women's sizing and was made with female consumers in mind. The shoe's sail color and translucent overlays went down a hit, landing the shoe on many 2020 top sneakers of the year lists. 2020 was also a great year for the Air Jordan 4, so the collaboration was timed to perfection.

2. Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low MCA University Blue

The penultimate sneaker on this list is the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low, in the MCA University Blue colorway. This fans-favorite is dressed in university blue on both the upper and sole, with a silver swoosh and a red zip tag. Although Virgil Abloh released an Air Force 1 in 2017, we have chosen the MCA University Blue pair as it was featured in Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition in 2019. Not only was the sneaker part of the exhibition, but it even had an exclusive raffle at the event too.

1. Off-White x Jordan 1 Retro High Chicago

No sneaker deserves the top spot on this list more than the Off-White x Jordan 1 Retro High Chicago. Released in 2017, this shoe was the only Jordan to be included in Off-White’s original “The Ten” collection. Since then, Virgil Abloh has worked on other Jordan models and has released new Jordan 1 colorways, but the original has remained the most popular. The shoe takes the Air Jordan 1 Chicago that was originally released in 1985 and adds Off-white's signature unfinished details and branding. The result is a modern sneaker classic that resells for over $4000.
